Angela Catherine Godar, 92, of Glenwood passed away August 17, 2022 with her loving family by her side.
She was born February 8, 1930, in Oldenburg, IN, a daughter of the late Gus and Florine (Niehoff) Herbert. She attended St. Mary Catholic School in Rushville. Together they would have seventeen children, 41 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and enjoy 59 years of marriage.
She worked at Winkler’s restaurant where she met the love of her life. After she was married, she devoted her entire life to family and church. She worked on the farm as well as being an avid gardener, seamstress and cook - she left the Energizer Bunny in the dust! At the end of the day, she loved watching Mollie B polka while eating her ice cream. She helped on various committees in the church and community. She was known for her home cooking by all. She never met a stranger and everyone loved her and her beautiful smile and laugh. Angela’s greatest love was spending time with her loving family and always putting her faith first.
