Anna Jean Moore Clark, formerly of Rushville, died June 16, 2021 in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Born October 30, 1926 in Kenton, Ohio, she was the daughter of Hazel and Thomas O. Moore. She was a 1944 graduate of Kenton High School where she was a cheerleader for four years.
She married Lawrence H. Clark on October 29, 1950. They had three children and lived in Rushville for most of the next 50 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Kathy, 3 brothers, Robert, Thomas, and William and 3 sisters, Betty, Dorothy, and Joyce. And her beloved dog Gigi.
Annie worked as a receptionist for dentists in Indiana, Texas and Louisiana. She also worked in the Food Stamp office in Rushville
Annie for several years volunteered at Rush Memorial Hospital and Major Hospital in Shelbyville, Indiana. She loved playing bridge, IU basketball, the Colts and shopping.
She was a member of Main Street Christian Church and Psi Iota Xi.
Survivors include her daughter, Sally Clark Moras of Alexandria, Louisiana, son Joe (Jenny) Clark of Citronelle, Alabama. Granddaughters Sarah Moras Babin of Alexandria, Louisiana, Julie (Kit) Moras Pace of Houston, Texas and Katherine (Shane) Clark of Citronelle, Alabama. Also 3 great-grandsons.
