Deborah Hunter Obituary

Deborah A. Hunter, 68, of Rushville, passed away Dec. 29, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Deborah was born in Rushville, IN on March 7, 1952, the daughter of James R. Patterson and the late Joyce E. (Haywood) Patterson.

She was the widow of Thomas C. Hunter. She and Tom were married on April 29, 1971 and he preceded her in death Dec. 13, 2014.

Deborah was a graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School in 1970 and a member of the Big Flatrock Christian Church in Gowdy. She worked as a QMA at Jackson using Home, Millers Merry Manor and the Flatrock River Lodge before her retirement. She loved to bowl and was a member of the women’s bowling league.

Deborah is survived by two daughters, Amber Byrd, of Fairland, IN, Bobbi (Chad) Gerrian, of Hammond, LA; and a son, Clint Hunter, of Kempton, IN. Six grandchildren, three step grandchildren and three great grandchildren will also miss her.
