Della A. (Stubbs) Porter

Della Ann Porter, 86, of Glenwood, IN, passed away Jan. 24, 2022, at the Flatrock River Lodge.

Della was born in Loundon County, TN on July 1, 1935, a daughter of the late Elsie Louise (Wilburn) and John William Stubbs.  She was the widow of Robert  A. Porter.  Della was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who's spirit will live on in her family.  She loved people and helped others in any way possible.

Della is survived by two daughters, Reine Warford, of Aurora, IN;  Becky (James) Richardson of Hartwell, GA; two step daughters, Brenda Hester, of TX;  Kathy (Kermitt) Horron, of LA;  four sons Billy Jo (Carla) Porter, of Rushville, IN;  John Porter, of Dublin, IN;  Jeff (Julie) Porter, of Beattyville, KY;  Greg (Rene) Porter, of Connersville, IN. 

She was a proud grandmother of many grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and  great-great-grandchilden.  Several other family members and friends will also miss her joyful smile.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, son, James, daughter, Roberta Kellam, brother, Joe Pete Stubbs and daughter in law Carol Porter.

Funeral Services will be 3 PM Thursday Jan 27, 2022 at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory with Jeff Porter officiating.  Friends may visit from 1 PM until the time of the funeral.

Burial will follow at the Glenwood (IN) Union Cemetery.  Please light a candle and share a memory at www.ToddFuneralHome.com.  Della asked that donations be made to the Flatrock River Lodge Activities Fund 904 E. 11th St. Rushville, IN 46173 in hopes that the residents who live there can enjoy their days at the lodge!
