Fredric (Steve) Harrison

Fredric Stephen (Steve) Harrison, 61, of Glenwood, IN, passed away Oct. 7, 2021

Steve was born in Rushville, IN Nov. 26, 1959, a son of the late Nancy Kay (Grinstead) Smith and Fredric Cecil Harrison.  He attended Orange Elementary School and graduated from Connersville High School in 1978

He married Theresa L. (Whiteman) Harrison on July 1, 1984, at Orange Christian Church and she survives him.  He was a farmer and logger throughout his life.

Steve most enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He had a unique ability to engage people and consequently had many "best friends".  Steve enjoyed spending his time outdoors; cutting timber, farming, hunting, and fishing. 

In addition to his wife Theresa, survivors include his two sons, Stephen A. (Rebecca) Harrison, Matthew C. Harrison; one brother, John David (Jennifer) Harrison; three sisters, Katie (Kerrry) Hill, Joni Harrison and Megan Harrison; father and mother- in- law, Richard (Patricia) Whiteman; brother(s)-in-law, Charlie (Diana) Whiteman, David (Tish) Whiteman; sister-in-law, Ginny (Randy) Greiner.  Two loving grandchildren, Tucker Harrison and Maddie Harrison and several nieces and nephews will also miss him.  

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Cecil & Roxine Harrison and Virgil (Bud) & Kathryn (Katie) Grinstead.

A Funeral Service will be 7 PM Monday, Oct. 11, 2021 with Treavor Abernathy officiating.   at the Beaver Homestead & Barn in Glenwood, IN.  Visitation will be held from 4 PM to 7 PM
