Jack Shepherd Obituary

Jack Wayne Shepherd, 82, of Rushville passed away December 30, 2019.

Jack was born December 5, 1937 in Batavia, OH to the late Lester and Mollie (Byrd) Shepherd. He was a graduate of Clarksburg High School. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Upon his discharge, he later married Bonnie Walker and she would precede him in death after 49 years of marriage. Jack was a self-employed carpenter and enjoyed motorcycles and antique cars. He was a proud member of the VFW in Brookville, OH.

Those left to cherish his memory are his two sisters, Gloria (Richard) Willey and Ruth Ann Sullivan, of Rushville, IN.

In addition to his parents and spouse, Jack was also preceded in death by his two brothers, Oliver and William Shepherd and his sister Betty Race.
