Jesse Lee James

Jesse Lee James, 45, of Homer, passed away at his home September 13, 2020.

Jesse was born December 22, 1974 in Winchester, IN to Diane (Beaty) James of Rushville and the late Richard L. James who preceded in him death in 2017. 

He was a 1993 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School.  He graduated from ITT Technical Institute in 1996 with his Associates Degree.  He worked for Triumph Controls, Toray Resin and Meridian in Shelbyville, IN.

Jesse married Aubrey Marie Walker December 31, 2015 and she survives.

In addition to his wife and mother, Jesse is survived by his sons Vinton (Victoria) James, of Mays; Lane (Cheyanne) James, of Rushville; Eric (Chelsea) Lyles-James, of Homer; Jesse Xander, of Homer; step-son Zach Click, of Rushville and a granddaughter Harley Lyles-James, of Homer.

Also missing him are his brothers, Richard (Tammy) James Jr, of Tennessee; Frank James, of Rushville; Jeremy (Nancy) James, of Shelbyville; grandfather George Beaty, of Tennessee; mother and father-in-law William and Beverly Walker of Rushville; sisters-in-law Kelly Walker of Laurel; Tiffany Walker, of Rushville and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews,

Funeral Services will be 1 PM, Friday, September 18, 2020 at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory with Rev. Dena Vitorio officiating.  Visitation will be held 11 AM to 1 PM the same day.
