John L. Ingram

John L. Ingram, 72, of Rushville, IN, passed away April 10, 2020 at his home.

John was born in Berea, KY on October 24, 1947, a son of the late Lilly (Isaacs) and Daniel Ingram.  He married Joyce Ann (Towles) June 26, 1971 and she survives.

He was skilled at truck driving and trucking, but was most know for his carpenter abilities working for Truster Buildings in Rushville for many years.  John had a kind heart and would help his neighbors and most anyone.

In addition to his wife of 49 years, John is  survived by two loving daughters, Jenny (Randy) Parsons, of Milroy, IN and Kelly Shannon McQueary, of Rushville, IN.  

He is also survived by three sisters, Jessie Johnson, Joyce Lamb and Janice D. Krider, of all of Georgetown, KY;  two brothers, Jerry (Gail) Ingram Berea, KY and Dan Ingram Jr., of Fisherville, KY.  Six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews will also miss him dearly.

John was preceded in death by his parents and two half brothers, Clayton H. Neeley & Simon T. Neeley.

Private graveside services will be held at Rushville's East Hill Cemetery with Darrell Cole Jr. officiating.  Memorials may be made to the family .  Please light a candle or express your condolences online at www.ToddFuneralHome.com
