Joyce Ann Jones, 81, of Homer, IN, passed away March 18, 2023 at The Waters of Rushville.

Joyce was born in Big Stone Gap, VA on Oct. 3, 1941, a daughter of the late Winnie Cleo (Haynes) and Vernon Mulvaney.

She was the wife of Richard C. Jones, whom she married June 16, 1963. They spent nearly 60 years together throughout both of their respective careers, He in the Air Force and her with the government.

After graduation from college with a bachelors degree, Joyce worked not only for the Central Intelligence Agency but also the Drug Enforcement Agency. Later, she worked as a secretary at her church in Big Stone Gap, Virginia.

Her survivors include:
Husband, Richard C. Jones of Homer, IN.
Son, Stephen N. Jones, of Marian, IN.
Son, Michael C. Jones, of Homer, IN.
Sister, Patty Lu York (husband Cooter), of Kingsport, TN.
Brother, James Vernon Mulvaney, of Big Stone Gap, VA.
Grandchildren, Elissa (Josh) Guffy, Ellynia Jones & Elijah Jones
Grant Grand Child, Kian Guffy
