Karen A. (Snapp) Montgomery

Karen A. (Snapp) Montgomery, 61, of Milroy, passed away December 20, 2020 at Aspen Place.

Karen was born January 30, 1959 in Rushville, a daughter of Joann Gaunce Snapp and the late Elmer Lee Snapp. Karen was a graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School, class of 1977.  She married Allen E. Montgomery and he would precede her in death in 2008.

Karen worked and retired after twenty-three years at Fujitsu Ten in Rushville.  

In addition to her mother of Milroy, IN, Karen is survived by three daughters, Kristi (Nathan) Schwartz, of Connersville, IN, Jessalynn King of Connersville, IN, Payton King of Monrovia, IN; one son Brian (Shelby) Montgomery, of Manilla, IN; her two brothers Rick (Rhonda) Snapp of Rushville, IN and Randy (Lisa) Snapp, of Fredericksburg, TX.  She is also survived by her five grandchildren.

In addition to her Husband, Allen and Father, Elmer, Karen was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Snapp in 2011.

Due to the pandemic, services will be held for Karen at a later date.  However the family ask for memorials be made to the Cancer Association of Shelby County 31 Public Square Shelbyville, IN 46176 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org
