Larry Fry age 75 of Rushville, IN passed away Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021.
Born Jan. 30, 1946 in Rush County. He was the son of Arthur George Fry and Alma (Hoeing) Fry, both deceased. Also deceased are his brothers Edward and David (wife Linda) Fry.
He was a 1964 graduate of Milroy High School. He attended Ball State University and graduated from Indiana Central College.
He married Janie (Peters) on March 17, 1973. They celebrated 48 years of marriage. Survivors in addition to his wife Janie include 2 sons, Brian of Rushville, IN, and Jason (Lindsay) of Grand Rapids, MI. He has 2 wonderful grandchildren, Hailey (10) and Jayden (7).
He is also survived by his sister Mary Ann Bridges (brother-in-law) Bob of Rushville; Brother Paul A. Fry (sister-in-law) Suzanne of Rushville; sister-in-law Jane (Weidner) Fry of Rushville. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also will miss him.
Larry was a salesman at the former Craven’s Frozen Foods early in his career and a salesman at McFarling Foods, Inc until he retired at the age of 70. He owned L.A. Fry & Associates, a specialty marketing company and along with his wife Janie, he co-owned the A&W Restaurant in Greensburg for over 43 years. He was very passionate about the food industry and really enjoyed working with his colleagues and supporting his customers with the best service possible.
Larry enjoyed sports, especially basketball and golf. He was a huge IU basketball fan and Notre Dame football fan. He loved his family and friends dearly. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on 10:30 AM Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Rushville with Fr. James Brockmeier officiating. Burial will follow at Rushville’s Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be on 4 - 8 PM Friday, Sept. 17, 2021 at Todd Funeral Centre and Crematory where all are invited to recite the rosary at 3:45 PM.
