Mae (Lowe) Marlow

Mae Marlow, 99, of Rushville, passed away Jan. 2, 2023.

Born Oct. 17, 1923 in Dearborn County, IN. She was one of four children born to Maude (Dance) and Ezra F. Lowe.  She graduated from Aurora High School at the age of 16 in 1940.  She married Fred M. Marlow on Mar. 7, 1947.  He preceded her in death Dec. 18, 1999. Together they raised four sons. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She was a longtime member of Main Street Christian Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Tim (Darlene) Marlow, of Milroy, IN, Kevin (Kristi) Marlow, of Rushville, IN, and Jeff (Kim) Marlow, of Rensselaer, IN. Also missing her is the daughter she never had, her good friend, Judy Reed.  She is also survived by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; four step grandchildren and five step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Kim, two brothers Ernest Lowe, Floyd Lowe and sister Ruby Luhrsen.

Graveside Services will be 11 AM, Friday, Jan. 6, 2023 at East Hill Cemetery 704 E. SR 44 Rushville, IN 46173 (Section 15) with Chip West officiating. The procession to the cemetery will leave the funeral home at 10:30 AM.  A luncheon will be held for family and friends at the Main Street Christian Church after services.
