Marie Cheatham Obituary

Marie Cheatham, 94, of Anderson, IN, passed away May 16th, at her daughter, Sharon's residence. Marie was born in Sandgap, KY on April 7, 1926 the daughter of the late Jane (Gabbard) and Elmer Clemmons.

She lived and was educated at the Louisville, KY Masonic Home where she was an outstanding athlete in field hockey. Her awards are still on display at the home. She was preceded by her three husbands, Homer Worrell, Don Draper and James Cheatham; one daughter, Janie Mitchell, two sisters and two brothers. Marie was retired from Ford Aerospace in Connersville, IN. after 38 years where she was an Inspector.

Marie is survived by two daughters, Sharon K. Bowers, of Anderson, IN and Brenda Lee "Bird" (Ross) Grimsley, of Owings Mills, MD; a son, Michael W. (Tari) Worrell, of Middletown, IN; two step daughters, Nina (Penny) Draper, of Indianapolis, IN; Renee (Mick) Waltz, of Dayton, OH. a step son, James (Kim) Cheatham, of Brookville, OH; She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren

Graveside Services 2 PM Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Arlington (IN) East Hill Cemetery with Howard Bullard of Ben Davis Christian Church officiating. Public visitation will be Wednesday May 20, 2020 from 4 to 7 PM at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory.
