Marilyn Kay (Ruble) Dishong

Marilyn Kay (Ruble) Dishong, 85, of Greensburg, passed away February 16, 2024.

Marilyn was born March 24, 1938 in Rush County to the late Carl and Hazel (Milligan) Ruble. She was a graduate of Milroy High School, class of 1956..go Cardinals!

Marilyn married her husband Gale Dishong on November 10, 1958 and he survives.  She worked at Pioneer as a corn sorter for sixty years. She was also a beautician.  

In addition to her husband, Marilyn is also survived by her two daughters Dana (Fred) Pike and Julie Gardner, both of Rushville, IN.  Also missing her are her grandsons Eric Pike, Aaron (Alexis) Pike, Ryan (Katie) Gardner, Kyle (Mary Kate) Gardner, five great-grandchildren and her sisters Karen (Dennis) Shupert, Sharon (Larry) Cameron, Linda (Rex) Edwards and Carla Reisert.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law, Fred Pike, brother Bud Ruble and Randy Ruble.

A celebration of life will be held 1 PM, Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory in Rushville, with Rev. Darryl Cooper officiating.  Friends are welcome to visitation from 11AM until the time of service.  Burial will follow at East Brook Cemetery in Milroy, IN.
