Michael Jon Rankin, 63, of Rushville, IN, passed away February 22nd, at his residence.

Michael was born in Indianapolis, IN on September 13, 1956, a son of the late Betty Lou (Jackson) and James E. Rankin.

He was the husband of Ylonda A. (Hallgarth) Rankin whom he married May 8, 2019 in Rushville. He worked at the Schnadig Corporation Rushville and Old Hickory Furniture in Shelbyville many years.

In addition to his loving wife Ylonda, Mike is survived by a son,Travis Jon Rankin, of Nashville, IN; step daughters, Brandi M. Hallgarth, of Martinsville, IN, Kimbriana (Robert) Workman, Danielle Kadri, Alicia (Chris) Hill all of Rushville, a step son, Brian Cain II; one grandchild and several step grandchildren also will miss him.

Mike was survived by three sisters, Debbie Rankin, Susan Gideon and Jamie Brown all of Rushville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Rebecca, a brother Jeff and brother-n-law Dennis Brown.
