Miles Flint Obituary

Miles Frederick Flint, 80, of Greensburg, IN, passed away July 22, 2019.

He was born in Versailles, IN on Mar. 6, 1939, a son of the late Russell and Clara Flint. He married Allie Mae Herd Nov. 25, 1961 and she preceded him in death Dec. 8, 2018.

Miles was a retired maintenance worker for Printpack in Greensburg and Visteon in Connersville. He graduated from New Marion High School in 1957.

He is survived by two daughters, Arletta Lee Sallee, of Greensburg, Barbara Fay Barker of Shelbyville; a son, Miles R. (Margaret) Flint of Laurel; two sisters, Jerry Fuqua of Osgood and Anne Grindstaff of Brown County. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren

and 2 great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers Cecil Flint, Gene Flint, Omer (Donna) Flint; sister, Rovena Matthews, and brother-in-law, James Fuqua.

Miles had requested cremation and no service, but ask that a memorial might be made to the American Cancer Society PO Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
