Nancy Jean (Gibson) Fleenor

Nancy Fleenor, 87, of Homer, IN passed away March 1, 2023 peacefully in her home next to her sweetheart, Marvin Fleenor, of 53 years. She was born in Connersville, IN on August 1, 1935 and is the daughter of William Leroy Gibson and Lillian Mae Pearson. 

She married Marvin on June 29, 1970, and he survives. Nancy worked for and retired from Wellman’s in Shelbyville, Indiana after 30 years with the company. She loved to read romance novels, watch movies and travel. 

She is survived by three sons Gary (Vicki) Brumfield, of Fremont, MI, Tony Nicholson, of Neenah, WI, Timmy (Beth) Nicholson, of Rushville, IN; Daughter-in-law Sheila (Terry) Brumfield; nine grandchildren, Travis Brumfield, Christopher (Krystal) Brumfield, Cassandra (Suzanne) Brumfield, Ashley (Michael) Petr, Amanda (Josh) Shefchik, Matthew (Jennifer) Nicholson, Addam (Anne) Nicholson, Tammy (Sean) Baker, Charlotte Nicholson, 17 great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, a few nieces, nephews, step grandchildren, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Terry Brumfield, two brothers, Ronnie and Bill Gibson, and three sisters, Sallie Wilson, Joyce Steele, and Doshia Ripberger, and her first husband Burl Brumfield.
