Paul Niehoff Obituary

Paul H. Niehoff, 80, of Rushville, passed away Aug. 21, 2020, at Miller's Merry Manor in Rushville.

Paul who was born in Rushville June 18, 1940, was one of five children of the late Clara (Bedel) and August F. Niehoff. He graduated from Rushville High School in 1958. He married Marjorie Warrick Aug. 30, 1958 at St. Mary Catholic Church and she preceded him in death Sept. 8, 2017.

Paul was a retired Mill worker. He worked at every job at Master Mix then Crites Farm Supply then as manager of Franklin Supply for nearly 50 years. He also was a farmer in the Arlington area for about 38 years. He enjoyed being with his family, watching basketball, auto racing, attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and he was an avid euchre player. He was a lifetime member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Paul is survived by three daughters, Cindy Richter (companion Gary Martin) of Shelbyville, Melinda (Mike) Mahan of Rushville, Rebecca (Blake) Heim of Wildwood, FL and a son, Alan (Julie) Niehoff of Rush County. Eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren will also miss him.

Paul is also survived by three loving sisters, Margie Clemons of Milroy, Lucille (Jerry) Hinton of Arlington and Annette Niehoff (companion Kevin Colson) of Rushville. Sister-in-law, Nancy (Mike) Grocox of Shelbyville and brother-in-law Danny Warrick of North Webster, IN.

In addition to his parents and dear wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joe and wife Marilyn Niehoff, brother-in-law’s Verl Clemons and Doug Warrick, sister-in-law Maria Warrick, and son-in-law Horst Richter.

Due to the pandemic all services will be private.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Mary Catholic Church in Rushville, IN with Rev. James Brockmeier officiating. Burial will follow at Rushville's Calvary Cemetery.
