Robert A. Kennedy

Robert A. Kennedy, 69, of Rushville, IN, passed away Dec. 19, 2022 at his residence. 

 

He was the husband of Teresa F. (Richardson) Kennedy. On Sept. 16, 2014, they were married at Rushville, IN. 

 

Robert was born in Rushville, IN on September 1, 1953, a son of the late Hazel L. (O'Dell) and Milford C. Kennedy.

 

He graduated from Rushville Consolidated High School and had worked at RYOBI in Shelbyville, IN over 20 years.  He had to stop working due to ill health. 

 

In addition to his loving wife Teresa, Robert is survived by two daughters, Aries M. Kennedy of home and Heather M. (Rodney) Girdler, of Edinburgh, IN;  a son, Jeremey A. Kennedy (companion Angel Hodge) of Bloomington, IN; two step daughters, Heather F. (Jeffrey) Linville and Angel R. (Mike) Stinger, both of Connersville, IN;  Robert is also survived by four sisters, Theresa (JR) Redden, of Metamora, IN;  Debbie Hancock, of Rushville, IN;  Rita Myers, of Rushville, IN;  Cheryl Flynn, of Rushville, IN. a brother, Danny (Lori) Kennedy, of Metamora, IN;  

 

Eleven grandchildren, Three great grandchildren and a special friend, Lynn White will also miss him.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Greg and a sister Eva.

 

Funeral Service will be held 1:30 PM on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory.  Friends are invited to call 11 AM  until the time of the service.  Pastor Darryl Cooper will offer words of comfort.  In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated following the funeral service.  Please light a candle and share a memory with the family at www.ToddFuneralHome.com
