Scott A Doll, a loving father,husband, son, brother and friend, passed away on June 22, 2023, in Indianapolis, at the age of 57. Born on December 11, 1965, in Rushville, Indiana, Scott was the son of Gladys Fay Doll, who survives, and the late Alfred Doll Sr. He is also survived by his wife, Editha Doll, and daughter, Peyton Marie Doll.
Scott grew up in a close-knit family, with brothers Alfred Doll Jr and Travis(Katie)Doll, and sisters Tina (Butch) Huffman and Teresa F. (Dean) Hauk; father-in-law, Roger Crowdus. He was a beloved brother-in-law and uncle to many nieces and nephews who will miss him.
Scott is predeceased by his father, Alfred Sr. (Bud), sister, Tammy Jo Doll and sister-in-law, Betty Doll.
A graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School in 1984, he was known for his wit, and determination. He honorably served in the United States Army, where he demonstrated his dedication to his country. After his time in the Army, Scott worked at OSL in Greensburg before his health failed. Scott loved his family, friends, and two fur buddies, “Lincoln” and “Bentley”. His laughter was contagious to all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be 1 PM Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory. The Rush County Honor Guard will conduct Military Rites and Pastor Jeff Edwards will offer words of hope. Visitation will be from 11 AM until the time of the service. Cremation will follow.
