Scout Lyerla Obituary

Scout Orville Lyerla, born April 22, 2022, passed away in arms of his daddy at Ascension St. Vincent Women's Hospital in Indianapolis, IN on May 24, 2022. He was born prematurely and for 32 days bravely fought to overcome issues with his lungs.

Scout is the son of Jacob and Ashley (Ratliff) Lyerla of Milroy, IN. He is survived by his big sister - Liberty, twin brother - Maverick, maternal grandparents, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceeded in death by his paternal grandfather - Donald Lyerla.

During his brief life, he touched the hearts of many. He was lovingly cared for by the staff at St. Vincent Women's including his favorite nurse - Lindsay, respiratory therapist - Courtney, nurse practioners - Cindy and Debi, and doctors - Dr. White and Dr. Sheehan among countless others who fought alongside him.
