Obituary

Sharon L. McQueary, 78, of Arlington, passed away Jan. 12, 2022 at Decatur County Memorial Hospital.

Sharon was born in New Castle, IN on Dec. 1, 1943, a daughter of the late Hazel (Getty) and George Converse.  She married Lonnie I. McQueary in 1967 and he preceded her in death in 2011.  She was a loving housewife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.

Surviving her are two daughters, Patricia (Bradley) Boring, of Arlington and Joyce Manser, of Rushville; three sons, Robert Sweet Jr., of Sheridan, IN, Wade (Tricia) McQueary and Doug A. McQueary, both of Greensburg.  She will also be missed by many grand and great grandchildren

In addition to her husband, Lonnie, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Sweet; brothers, Sonny and Gerald Converse; sisters, Helen Brooks, Lois Davis, Janet Solomon.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 10 AM Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022 at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory in Rushville with Pastor Darryl Cooper officiating.  Visitation will be held 5 PM to 7 PM on Tuesday, Jan. 18th at the funeral home.  Burial will take place at the Arlington East Hill Cemetery.
