Sharon Tucker Obituary

Sharon Sue Tucker, 66, of Carthage, IN, passed away at her home, Monday, February 24th.

Sharon was born in Greensburg, IN on July 16, 1953, a daughter of Norma Marie (Pollard) Beatty and the late Charles Leroy Beatty.

Sharon attended Greensburg Community High School and later worked at Smurfit-Stone Container Corp. where she retired after over 30 years of dedication and a proud member of The United Paperworkers Union.

Sharon enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother Norma Beatty, sons Brian (Brandi) Matney, of Holland, MI, Dennis (Beth) Matney, of New Castle, IN and Alex Matney, of Carthage, IN. She is also survived by her brother Charles Beatty, sister Carolyn Hill and her grandchildren Briana Timmer, Bridgette Sarmiento, Ronnie Lawrence, Paige Matney, Ashlyn Matney, Cora Stillwell, Dennis Matney III, Ruby Stillwell and a great-granddaughter Brooklyn Timmer.

A private family memorial will take place at a later date.
