Stephen Jay Fulton, 68, of Greensburg, IN, passed away May 11th, at Decatur County Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Batesville, IN on September 18, 1951, a son of the late Hazel L. (Clark) Fulton and Walter E. Fulton. He was a 1969 graduate of South Decatur High School. He married Ruth Marie (Hermesch) Fulton June 21,1986 and she survives.
Stephen was retired from Armour Swift Eckrich in Greensburg as a trucking fleet mechanic after 34 years. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion post 129
and Fraternal Order of Eagles, Lodge 927. He loved music, going dancing, playing cards and traveling with Ruth.
In addition to his wife of 34 years he is survived by a son, Christopher (Lenora) Fulton of Abilene, TX; step daughter Patty Workman (companion, Craig Roberts) of Greensburg, IN; step sons Chad (Kelly) Hampton, of Greensburg, IN and Todd (Lea) Hampton, of Shelbyville, IN. Many grandchildren and one great grand along with his special dog Hooch will also miss him.
Stephen was predeceased by his two brothers Clark and Don.
