William L. Raisor

William Lee Raisor, 61, of Rushville, IN, passed away Aug. 14, 2021 at his residence following a brief illness.

William was born in Rushville, IN Feb. 28, 1960, a son of the late Margie R. (Sexton) Glover and Marvin L. Raisor.

He was the husband of Pamela S. Raisor whom he married July 21, 1984. They raised a daughter, Susan Foster (companion Matthew Bussburg) and a son,William (Shania) Raisor, all of Rushville.

William was a chauffeur hired by the Amish community for many years.  He was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Rushville.  He was a US Army Veteran.

In addition to his loving wife of of 37 years, Pam Raisor of Rushville and children, William is also survived by four sisters, Kimberly Cochran (companion Richard Walkup) of Alliance, OH;  Barbara Montgomery (companion Craig Figgins) of Myrtle Beach, SC;  Atha Self, of Rushville, IN; Tammy (Kenny) Page, of Rushville, IN;  two brothers, Allen (Jennifer) Raisor, of Cheraw, SC;  Jimmy "Bo" Raisor, of Rushville.

His loving grandchildren, Clarissa Foster, James Foster Jr., Braylah Dawn Raisor and Paisley Raisor and many other relatives and friends will also miss him.

Waiting for him in Heaven are his parents, Marvin and Margie, two sisters, Brenda John & Holly Raisor and a brother, Eddie Raisor.

A Celebration of Life will be 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 18th at First Southern Baptist Church in Rushville with Jeff Edwards officiating.  Military Honors will be given by the Rush County Honor Guard.  Friends are welcome after 11:00 AM until the time of funeral.
